GRANTS FOR PHYSICAL PROJECTS

In most situations, grants for physical projects are limited to capital projects for building, remodeling, equipment and related costs

A well received proposal will be characterized by:
  • a well planned approach to the solution of a significant community health care need
  • other support sources
  • efficient use of resources
  • coordination, cooperation, and sharing among organizations to minimize duplication within the community
  • citizen involvement and volunteer participation
In general, the Foundation does not award grants:
  • to support operating or administrative expenses
  • to retire debt
  • for projects which have already been completed
  • for sectarian or religious purposes
  • for scholarships and fellowships to individuals
  • to propagandize or influence elections or legislation
  • to purchase computer systems
